The Graduate Program in Agronomy has a major in SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION and consists of Master's and Doctorate's courses. It aims to train high level professionals related to Agricultural Science, whose goals are to act in higher education, in public and private institutions or companies. The graduates are able to develop research and technology on the fields of soil, water and crop production, based on the sustainable use of natural resources, especially in the Brazilian Cerrado region.

The Graduate courses on Agronomy comprise three research lines: 1) Soil, water and environmental quality; 2) Genetic resources and plant breeding; and 3) Sustainable agricultural production systems.
